How We've Structured This

Services designed around where you are

Not every small business needs the same thing from their accounting. A business in its first year has different priorities than one that's been running for five. We've built our services around those distinctions — each one addresses a specific stage or situation rather than trying to be everything to everyone.

Full-Service Small Business Bookkeeping
Monthly Service

Service One

Full-Service Small Business Bookkeeping

$800 / month

Complete monthly bookkeeping for businesses with fewer than 50 employees. We categorize transactions, reconcile accounts, manage payables and receivables, and produce monthly financial summaries. Our approach adapts to your industry and transaction volume rather than applying a single model across all clients.

What's included

  • Transaction categorization and reconciliation every month
  • Accounts payable and receivable management
  • Monthly financial summaries in plain language
  • Monthly review call to discuss your financial position
  • Approach adapted to your industry and transaction volume

Service Two

New Business Financial Setup

$1,200 one-time

The financial infrastructure a new business needs to start on solid ground. We handle entity registration with relevant authorities where applicable, set up your accounting software, design a chart of accounts appropriate to your industry, and walk you through the basics of financial record-keeping — so you're not learning as you go when the mistakes are costly.

What's included

  • Entity registration support where applicable
  • Accounting software setup and configuration
  • Chart of accounts designed for your industry
  • Walkthrough of financial record-keeping basics
  • Starter documentation: invoice templates, expense tracking, basic reporting

Quarterly Business Health Review
Quarterly Service

Service Three

Quarterly Business Health Review

$600 / quarter

A concise quarterly review of your business finances: profitability, cash position, debt levels, and key operational metrics. We prepare a brief report comparing current performance to prior periods and flag any areas that may warrant attention — along with a thirty-minute consultation to discuss findings and plan for the quarter ahead. Designed for business owners who want financial visibility without a full ongoing engagement.

What's included

  • Review of profitability, cash position, and debt levels
  • Key operational metrics reviewed and summarized
  • Performance comparison to prior periods
  • Areas flagged that may need attention
  • Thirty-minute consultation to discuss findings

Across All Services

What stays the same regardless of which service you choose

We work exclusively with businesses under 50 employees. Every decision we make is shaped by that specific context.

Plain communication

Reports come with summaries you can actually read. Questions are welcome. Accounting language gets translated, not assumed.

Common Questions

Things people usually ask

Can I combine services — for example, setup followed by ongoing bookkeeping?
Yes. Many new businesses start with the Financial Setup service to get their infrastructure in order, then move into ongoing bookkeeping once the business is operating. We're happy to discuss what makes sense for your situation and timeline.
What accounting software do you work with?
We work with the main cloud-based accounting platforms commonly used by small businesses. During our initial conversation, we'll discuss what's appropriate for your situation and — for setup clients — what we'd recommend given your industry and how you operate.
Does the bookkeeping service include tax filing?
No. Our bookkeeping service covers maintaining your financial records accurately throughout the year — which makes tax time significantly less burdensome — but it doesn't include preparing or filing tax returns. We're happy to discuss how our records can be used by your accountant or tax preparer.
How long does the business setup service take?
Most setup engagements take two to three weeks from the initial conversation to having everything in place, depending on the complexity of your business and whether entity registration is involved. We'll give you a clearer timeline once we understand your specific situation.
I'm already using a bookkeeper. Is switching straightforward?
Generally, yes. We handle the transition — gathering what's needed from your current records and getting your books current from there. Most clients are up and running within a couple of weeks of starting.

Not sure which service fits?

Send us a message and we'll have a short conversation about where your business is right now. We'll tell you honestly which service makes sense — or whether something else might serve you better.
